ESIC Recruitment Salary 2022: The ESICs have released notifications for various recruitments for the year 2022 on their official website. Reserved candidates will be given priority in the conducting body’s selection process. However, it is contingent on the position and the number of openings. Through the ESIC Recruitment 2022 Exam, ESIC recruits for various positions such as Clerk, MTS, UDC, Stenographer, and Paramedical.


ESIC Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) Grade-II Salary and Allowances

  • The ESIC Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) Grade-II pay band is part of the seventh pay commission.
  • Those chosen for the ESIC IMO position will be paid according to Level–9 of the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix (Rs 53,100 to Rs 1,67,800).
  • According to the seventh pay commission, other benefits such as DA, NPA, HRA, and Transport Allowance will also be applicable.
  • Selected applicants will be assigned to ESIC hospitals and dispensaries in 17 states.

ESIC UDC Salary and Other Benefits

  • The pay scale for ESIC UDC is Level 4 of the Pay Matrix, according to the official notification (Civilian employees)
  • The applicants’ starting pay will remain at Rs 25,500, but they will be placed in a pay band of Rs 5,200-20,200.
  • The 7th Central Pay Commission’s Grade Pay is Rs. 2,800.
  • In addition to the pay scale, applicants will receive Dearness Allowances (DA), Housing Renting Allowance (HRA), Transportation Allowance, and other Allowances as determined by the rules.

ESIC UDC will be promoted to Assistant with a Rs. 4,200 grade pay. This will be done for the next three years. They will be eligible for a Social Security Officer position with an initial grade pay of Rs 4,600 after three years as an Assistant.


ESIC SSO Salary

  • The ESIC SSO’s pay is classified as Level 7 of the Pay Matrix (Civilian employees).
  • At the entry level, the monthly gross salary would be around Rs 44900/-, with a pay band of Rs 9300-34800/- and a grade pay of Rs 4600/-.
  • House rent allowance, Dearness allowance, Heat, Gas & Dust allowance, Lay off compensation, Meal/food allowance, Night Shift allowance, Overtime wages, Payment for a day of rest, Payment for unsubstituted holidays, Production incentive, Suspension allowance, Bonus other than a statutory bonus, Children education allowance, City compensatory allowance will all be available in addition to a generous salary.

  • The pay scale for ESIC Stenographer is Level-4 of Matrix (Civilian employee) with Entry Pay INR 25000/- replaced against Pay Brand INR 520- 20200/- with Grade Pay INR 2400/- of the 6th Central Pay Commission, according to the official notification.
  • Aside from the salary, officers will receive Dearness allowances, House rent allowances, Transportation Allowances, and other ESIC-mandated allowances.
