There will be no written examination in the Gramin Dak Sevak Selection Process 2020. Instead, in 2022, candidates will be chosen based on their class 10th grades and a merit list provided by the hiring authority.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: Candidates applying for the post must submit a security deposit of Rs. 25,000 for the post of BPM and Rs. 10,000 for the other categories. This security deposit will be in the form of a Fidelity Guarantee Bond or a National Savings Certificate, and it will be pledged to the Department of Posts in the name of the incumbent President of India.
Candidates appointed for the position of BPM must find lodging within 30 days near the branch office village and notify the administration. The candidate is responsible for the cost of lodging.
