IRMS Recruitment Selection Method

  • The IRMS examination has to be held for candidates in five different fields: mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering, and non-technical entry, which is for candidates who are not engineers but are studying for civil service jobs.
  • The examination is typically broken up into three parts, which are referred to as the preliminary exam, the main examination, and the personality test.
  • Exams for the preliminary level are often objective.
  • The Mains test will be a traditional or subjective examination, and candidates who were eligible to take the Preliminaries examination will be the only ones qualified to take the Mains examination.
  • Following that, there will be a Personality Test, which will be followed by an Interview round during which the applicant’s knowledge will be tested on topics such as the particulars of the exam, management, and general attentiveness. Students will only be eligible for that particular round if they have qualified both in the Preliminaries and in the Mains.
  • Following the successful completion of these three stages, there will be a medical examination.
  • Following the conclusion of all of the rounds, the ultimate merit will be determined, and departments will be assigned.
  • Candidates should do their best to follow the subjects that are being discussed. Learners will be able to prepare for these topics even before the IRMS syllabus is even revealed, as they have already been identified to have a high possibility of appearing on the exam.

They will have an advantage over the other people who are waiting for the pattern to be made available to the public because of this. In addition, the themes that are going to be addressed by the teachers will be quite similar to those that are going to be on other relevant exams such as ESE prelim CSE, etc. As a result, studying these subjects will assist pupils in their preparation for subsequent examinations.
