The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) conducts an online exam to select Apprentice Development Officers (LIC ADO). Prelims, mains, and personal interview are the three stages of the LIC ADO Recruitment 2022. Applicants can apply on the LIC’s official website.

LIC ADO Syllabus 2022

LIC ADO Preliminary Syllabus
LIC ADO preliminary exam consists of three subjects which are Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English Language. The table below shows the subject-wise syllabus for the prelims exam.
LIC ADO Mains Syllabus
LIC ADO mains syllabus is the same as that of prelims for Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English Language. Other subjects included in the mains exam are General Knowledge & Current Affairs, and Insurance Marketing. Have a look at the table for the syllabus of the subjects left.

LIC ADO Exam Pattern
Applicants interested in working as a LIC ADO should begin studying for the exam as soon as possible.
The LIC ADO Exam is divided into three sections:
- Written exam
- Medical Test
The written exam is computer-based and is divided into two parts:
- Round-I: Preliminary Examination
- Round-II: Mains Examination
The LIC ADO exam is divided into three categories:
- Open Market: open for all the candidates
- LIC Employee: open for candidates who are full time, salaried employee of LIC (under Grade III)
- LIC Agent: open for candidates who work as agents under LIC.
The following is the LIC ADO prelims exam pattern:

For each paper, there are 35 questions.
As a result, the maximum score for Prelims is 70, as the English language marks are of a qualifying nature and are not taken into account in the ranking.
The Open Market category, out of the three above, has two phases:
Applicants for the LIC Employee and LIC Agent categories, on the other hand, only need to take the LIC Mains exam.
LIC ADO Mains Exam consists of three papers:
- Paper-I: Reasoning Ability & Numerical Ability
- Paper-II: General Knowledge, Current Affairs & English Language
- Paper-III: Insurance Marketing

Applicants who have been shortlisted for the LIC ADO exam will be invited to an interview. The combined marks in the interview and mains exam are used to determine the final merit list. The interview will have a maximum score of 37 points.
Financial Awareness and Insurance Market Awareness are the main topics covered in the Insurance Marketing section of the LIC ADO syllabus.
Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, and English Language must all be included in the LIC ADO Exam syllabus. Other sections of the Main exam are included, but this three-part set is the most important.
