RBI Grade B Exam 2023 will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India. The RBI Grade B Exam is a national level exam that is conducted each year for recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘B’ (General) – DR, DEPR, and DSIM in Common Seniority Group (CSG). The application forms for RBI Grade B Exam 2023 will be made available on the official website in the month of September 2023. Interested applicants must go through the detailed eligibility criteria for RBI Grade B Exam 2023 before applying for the examination.

RBI Grade B Exam 2023 will be conducted in two phases i.e. RBI Grade B Phase-I Exam followed by the RBI Grade B Phase-II Exam in the months of November and December respectively. The exam will be conducted in online mode. The results for RBI Grade B Phase-I Exam and RBI Grade B Phase-II Exam will be published online through the official website in the months of November and December respectively.

The applicants need to qualify for the RBI Grade B Phase-I Exam in order to be eligible for RBI Grade B Phase-II Exam. RBI Grade B Exam 2023 Application Form

The application forms for RBI Grade B Exam 2023 will be released in March 2023 by the Reserve Bank of India. The applications for RBI Grade B Exam will be invited online through the official website only. Applicants must make sure that they meet the minimum eligibility criteria for RBI Grade B Exam before considering the applications.

  1. The applicants must visit the official website of the Reserve Bank of India ( https://www.rbi.org.in/ ) in order to apply for RBI Grade B Exam.
  2. The applicants are required to enter some personal as well as educational details on the portal.
  3. The applicants must upload the digitally scanned copies of the photograph, signature, handwritten declaration, and thumb impression.
  4. The applicants are required to fill the details in the form with utmost care as corrections to the forms can’t be made in the future.
  5. Finally, make the required payment online and don’t forget to take a print out of the application form and payment receipt. The payment can be initiated through Net Banking or Debit/Credit cards.

Application Fees:

The application fee for the applicants belonging to the General category is Rs. 850/- while it is Rs. 100/- for the applicants belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/PwD).

RBI Grade B Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must make sure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for RBI Grade B Exam 2023 before filing the applications. The Eligibility Criteria for RBI Grade B Exam are as follows:

Nationality

The applicants interested in applying for RBI Grade B Exam should have citizenship of India issued by the government of India. Moreover, the following applicants are also eligible to apply:

  • a subject of Nepal or
  • a subject of Bhutan or
  • a Tibetan Refugee, who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • Persons migrated from India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, along with the certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit

  • The age of the applicants must lie between 21-30 years as of September 1, 2023.
  • However, the upper age limit for applicants holding M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualifications are 32 and 34 years respectively.
  • The reserved category applicants will be given relaxations as per the norms of the Government of India.

Educational Qualifications

The qualification required for profuse posts at RBI Grade B Exam is unique. The details of the minimum educational qualifications are mentioned below:.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIMEssential: A Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Economics/ Mathematical Statistics/Statistics & Informatics/Econometrics from IIT-Kharagpur or Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with at least 55% marks in aggregate of all semester/years or an equivalent grade; OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics with at least 55% marks in aggregate of all semester/years and 1-year PG Diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a reputed institute;
OR
M. Stat. from Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years OR PG Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta with at least 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years or equivalent grade. Note: For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum marks required in Master’s Degree as in items a, b, c and d above are 50% in aggregate of all semesters/years or an equivalent grade.
