B.Ed. Eligibility Criteria

The requirements for B.Ed admission in 2022 differ slightly between universities. The overall criteria or requirement, however, remains the same.

  • Candidates must have received a minimum grade of 50–55 percent on their graduation exam from a recognized university. Students pursuing a Bachelor of Technology or a postgraduate degree must achieve a minimum grade of 55 percent.
  • Candidates who fall into one of the reserved categories, such as SC, ST, or PWD, are given a 5% relaxation in their overall score.
  • In particular, there is no set age limit for pursuing this course, but some colleges require applicants to be at least 19 years old to be considered for admission.
  • Above all, candidates must pass the entrance examination in the majority of cases.

Syllabus for the B.Ed. Program

Most colleges and universities have converted the B.Ed syllabus into a semester format. B.Ed- Important Entrance Exams

RIE CEE

  • Regional Institutes of Education Common Entrance Examination is the full form of RIE CEE.
  • For admission to teaching courses offered by Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) in Bhopal, Ajmer, Mysore, Shillong, and Bhubaneswar, the NCERT conducts the RIE CEE.
  • The exam will take 120 minutes to complete.

CUCET

  • The Registration process of CUCET 2022 has been postponed due to the covid 19 pandemic.

Delhi University B.Ed Entrance Exam

  • The Delhi University administers an entrance exam for admission to the B.Ed program.
