A credible four-year certification through the 10+2+3 framework from a reputable college in India with at least half stamps overall and English as one of the disciplines is required for aspiring professionals who intend to pursue an MA in ethics. Graduates with degrees in philosophy or ethics have an advantage over others because of their background in the subject. Some institutions also require Philosophy or Ethics as one of the graduation-focused disciplines. If they meet the requirements of a particular institution, understudies who are in their last year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
MA Ethics Admission Process
Performance in the entrance exams held by the relevant university determines admission. However, in order to be admitted to the programme, some institutes have a minimum graduation requirement of 45–50 per cent. Selection for these colleges is based on the grades earned for graduation as well as the grades or CGPA gained in the merit list created from the results of the admission exams. The final step in the admissions process is counselling, when applicants are admitted based on the grades they obtained in either the entrance exam, at the graduate level, or in both.

The VPGR Institute of Technology in Adyar, Chennai, provides an MA in Ethics via remote learning at a nominal cost.
