The two sessions of JEE Main 2024 will be in April and May. Every year, NTA conducts the JEE Main national level entrance exam (Joint Entrance Exam Main). For courses in engineering, technology, architecture, and planning, the exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Only those who pass JEE Main are then eligible to apply for JEE Advanced, which is required for admission to IITs. Candidates may apply for admission to NITs, CFTIs, etc. in addition to IITs.

Additionally, top-tier private and governmental institutions take JEE Main scores into consideration when granting admission to B.Tech, B.E, B.Arch, and B.Plan programs. JEE Main 2024 application forms will be available starting in March 2024 (session 1) and continuing through April 2024. (session 2). The exam will take place in May 2024 (session 1) and April 2024. JEE Main 2024 Preparation Tips

Even though each candidate’s plan to pass JEE Main 2024 will be different, there are a few things to keep in mind as you prepare for the test. Here, people who want to do well on the JEE Main 2024 exam can find some tips on how to study.

  • Understand the Exam Pattern and Syllabus: Candidates should know everything there is to know about the JEE Main 2024 exam pattern and syllabus. Students will know what they need to study for an exam if they know how it is set up and what it covers.
  • Study Plan: The next step for candidates is to make a proper timetable so that they can finish each section’s syllabus on time. Applicants should divide the time they have to study so that they can cover all the sections before the test.
  • Start with NCERT books. 11th and 12th graders should first finish their NCERT books and then look at other books.
  • Speed, Time Management, and Accuracy: To do well on the JEE Main 2024 exam, applicants must work on their own speed and time management. Candidates should use timers, practice sample papers, etc. to help them get faster and better at managing their time when answering JEE Main questions. Accuracy must also be kept in mind since wrong answers will hurt your grade. So, candidates taking the online test need to be careful when answering questions.
  • Revision: Revision is among the most important parts of a study plan, so a candidate must leave time in his or her study plan for revision.
  • Mock Tests: Candidates should take as many JEE Main mock tests as possible to get a feel for the real test. The JEE Main 2024 practice tests are based on the real test.

Subject-Wise Preparation Tips for JEE Main 2024

  • To do well in Physics on JEE Main 2024, you need to understand concepts and figure out how to answer questions. If you don’t understand the idea, you won’t be able to answer a question about numbers. So, be sure you understand the ideas.
  • Always start by reading the theory, then move on to the MCQs in the books. After that, look over the multiple-choice questions from previous years’ tests.
  • Put a timeline for solving a practice paper. This will help you get faster at solving problems and better at analyzing them. It will also make you more interested in ideas and, sometimes, formulas as well.
  • Pay close attention to the signs and units as you solve any problem.

  • In Chemistry, you shouldn’t jump right into trying to memorize everything. Concentrate on fully grasping the fundamental ideas, and learning the rest of the material will come much more naturally to you.
  • After you have finished each chapter, make sure to keep brief notes of all of the equations and formulas.
Please consult resources such as those published by NCERT, Arihant, etc.
  • In Organic Chemistry, you need to memorize all of the named reactions and study all of the reaction mechanisms. It is important to take notes on each chapter.

  • Candidates are encouraged to put in additional practice time in order to improve their scores on the JEE Main 2024 exam.
  • Focus extra energy on improving your ability to find solutions to problems.
  • You should have both the ideas and the formulas at your disposal. Be familiar with every shortcut and calculation that is available.

Things to Avoid in Preparation for JEE Main 2024

  • Candidate backlogs: It is advised that no backlogs be maintained. Procrastination is not necessary for JEE Main 2024 preparation. To reach your goal, develop the habit of completing tasks and assignments on time.
  • Avoid all activities that waste your precious time, such as TV, social media, and video games. Your focus and dedication are required for JEE Main 2024 preparation, so devote that time to it.
  • Too many book readings: Quality always trumps quantity. Your chances of passing the JEE are not inversely correlated with the number of books you read. You must be familiar with the syllabus and refrain from answering any questions that are too difficult for the exam.
  • Not Understanding: Don’t make things up. Unless it’s a chemistry test or some basic formulas, avoid cramming.
  • Depression due to Low Test Score: By taking tests, you are developing yourself. Tests every month or practice exams are only intended to assess your comprehension and learning. It allows you to learn from your errors.
  • Depending on Self-Study: There is a good reason to give teachers credit for assisting the candidates in passing the JEE. Every year, the teachers prepare students for the JEE exam. They will allay your concerns, fix your errors, and instruct you on how to properly plan.

JEE Main 2024 Mock Test

On the official website of the examination, the authority will make available the official mock test for JEE Main 2024. Candidates need to go to the website and then click on the link that says “mock test” in order to participate in the JEE Main 2024 Mock Test. Candidates need to be aware that if they do not have the necessary credentials, they will not be allowed to participate in the JEE Main 2024 mock test. Candidates should continue to practice with the JEE Main mock tests from previous years in order to prepare for the JEE Main 2024 Mock test.
