Even though both exams are taken to get into B.E./B.Tech, JEE Main, and JEE Advanced Syllabus are not the same. The JEE Main syllabus is based on the 11th and 12th-grade curriculum, but for JEE Advanced, candidates need to study a few more topics. In the section below, you can learn more about JEE Main vs. JEE Advanced Syllabus.
JEE Main and JEE Advanced are two engineering entrance exams that are given at the national level. Even though the level of difficulty of each paper depends on how well each student has prepared, JEE Advanced is thought to be more difficult than JEE Main. Read more on JEE Main Difficulty vs. JEE Advanced Difficulty to get a better idea of what’s going on.
The applicant must know that JEE Main is a requirement for taking JEE Advanced. And only people with a rank in the top 250000 are allowed to take the JEE Advanced. So, a candidate needs to pay attention to both the JEE Main Syllabus and the JEE Advanced Syllabus.
JEE Main and JEE Advanced are conducted in that order. To be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced, candidates must first qualify for JEE Main.
Although the exam’s difficulty varies depending on the candidates’ preparation, JEE Main is seen as being simpler because it only evaluates candidates using the material from classes 11 and 12. On the other hand, JEE Advanced also covers subjects that are not covered in JEE Main. Additionally, the questions in JEE Advanced are more difficult because they combine two or more concepts in a single question.
