CUCET Eligibility Criteria: CUCET 2024 application process will begin in the month of March 2024 and only eligible candidates can apply.

Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a national level entrance test held for admission into the various courses of the ten affilia1ted central universities and Dr. B R Ambedkar School of Economics.

The exam is usually held every year in the month of April 2024.

CUCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Following are the detailed eligibility criteria for CUCET 2024:

Central University of Haryana:

• PG Courses: Bachelor’s Degree
• Phil. Courses: Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for SC/ST/PwD.
• Ph.D. Courses: M.Phil Degree; or Qualified the UGC/CSIR-JRF/NET or SLET; or Teacher Fellowship Holder; or Teacher in a constituent/affiliated college/department of the university & with minimum 2 years research experience; or an in-service candidate with three years experience and his master’s degree with 55% minimum marks for general category and 50% minimum marks for SC/ST/PwD category.

Central University of Jammu:

• PG Courses: Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ST category.
• Phil/Ph.D. Courses: Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ST category.
• Integrated Courses: 10+2 examination from a recognized board

Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi:

• PG Courses: Bachelor’s Degree
• Ph.D. Courses: Master’s Degree in relevant courses.

Central University of Karnataka:

• Integrated Courses: 10+2 examination from a recognized board
• PG Courses: Bachelor’s Degree

Central University of Kashmir:

• Integrated Courses: 10+2 examination from a recognized board
• PG Courses: Bachelor’s Degree
• Phil/Ph.D.: Master’s Degree

Central University of Kerala:

• UG Courses: 10+2 examination from a recognized board. The candidates must not be more than 19 years of age as of 1^st July 2024.
• PG Courses: Bachelor’s Degree. The candidate must not be more than 25 years of age as of 1^st July 2024.

Central University of Punjab:

• PG Courses: Bachelor’s Degree
• Phil Courses: Master’s Degree
• PG Diploma Courses: Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree

Central University of Rajasthan:

• Integrated Courses: 10+2 examination from a recognized board
• PG Courses: Bachelor’s Degree
• Ph.D. Courses: Master’s Degree

Central University of Tamil Nadu:

• Integrated Courses: 10+2 examination from a recognized board
• PG Courses: Bachelor’s Degree
• Ph.D. Courses: Master’s Degree

Central University of South Bihar:

• Integrated Courses: 10+2 examination from a recognized board
• PG Courses: Bachelor’s Degree

B R Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE):

• Integrated M. A. Economics: 10+2 examination from a recognized board.

Other Important Details

• Only citizens of Indian nationality can apply.
• Appearing candidates i.e. candidates who will give the qualifying examination in 2024 can also apply.
• The application process will take place online via the official website.
