IRMASAT 2023: Application Form (Closed), Dates(Out), Eligibility, Syllabus

The application period for IRMASAT 2023 is currently closed, and the registration deadline was December 31, 2022. The fourth week of March 2023 will see the online publication of the IRMASAT 2023 results on the official website. According to their CAT or XAT scores, the candidates will be chosen for the interviews. Prior to actually filling out the registration form, applicants must follow IRMASAT 2023 eligibility criteria. Only applicants who complete the application form together with the application fee can access the IRMASAT 2023 admit card.

Only applicants who fulfill the cut-off criteria are qualified for IRMASAT 2023. IRMASAT Application Form 2023

IRMASAT 2023 for admission to IRMA 2023 will be completed after the shortlisting for the GA-PI round. The IRMASAT 2023 examination will be shortlisted only for those applicants who are eligible to apply for IRMA 2023 admission and who have registered and scored the required minimum percentile in CAT 2023 / XAT 2023. The date of the IRMASAT 2023 exam is the first week of February 2023.

How to Fill IRMASAT Registration 2023 Online

The applicants can submit the IRMASAT 2023 Application Form online by reading the below-mentioned steps:

  1. The candidate needs to go to the official website of IRMASAT i.e. irma.ac.in 
  2. After visiting the website, they have to register using their email id and password.
  3. Now the candidate has to submit all the personal details as well as academic details. 
  4. After that, the candidate has to provide scanned copies of their latest photograph and signature in the format specified by the institute.
  5. Finally the candidate has to pay the registration fee and finish the registration process.

How to Fill IRMASAT Registration 2023 Offline

  • The candidate will have to buy the registration form through the IRMASAT Admissions office or 
  • They can write to the address below with a demand draft drawn in favor of the “Institute of Rural Management Anand” payable at par at Anand.

IRMASAT 2023 Application Fee

  • The candidate will be able to pay their registration fee via both modes i.e, offline and online.
  • For the online mode, the applicants will be able to use a debit card/credit card/net banking.
  • Whereas for the offline mode, the applicant has to get a bank challan of SBI.
  • Foreign Nationals can pay using INR or their home currency.

IRMASAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for IRMASAT 2023 are defined by IRMA, Anand. Before proceeding with the IRMASAT 2023 Application Form, applicants must ensure that all the eligibility criteria for IRMASAT 2023 are met. Candidates must pass the IRMASAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria set out below to take part in the entrance test. Candidates who meet the following criteria may apply for admission.

Qualification: Applicants who have completed a degree in any of the disciplines with at least 15 years of study, i.e., a 10 + 2 + 3 sequence and a total mark of 50 percent or more, shall be entitled to apply for IRMASAT 2023. In their graduation or bachelor’s degree, those applicants who belong to SC / ST / PwD must have scored an aggregate mark of at least 45% or more.

Final Year: Applicants who complete their final year of graduation may apply for IRMASAT, but must meet all graduation requirements before 1 July 2023.

Exam: Applicants should have given either CAT 2023 or XAT 2023 examination.

NRI: NRI or NRI sponsored candidates, or Overseas citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) should have attempted GRE or GMAT or CAT 2023 or XAT 2023 and must have a qualified score.

Minimum Score for merit-based calls: In CAT or XAT, applicants must have scored 85 percentile or higher, only those applicants are allowed to write IRMASAT after which they will undergo group activity (GA) and personal interview (PI). Through their admit cards, applicants will get to know this information.

Minimum Score for Profile cum merit-based calls: In a CAT or XAT examination, the minimum score based on profile selection is 80 percentile. Three criteria that are explained below will be based on profile-based selection.

  • Excellence: Graduation from top colleges or universities.
  • Work Experience: Social impact, Community development, livelihoods, policy and advocacy, agriculture and allied sectors would be preferred for candidates with work experience from these sectors.
  • Graduation: Candidates with a degree in any of the fields such as Social Sciences, Development Studies, Agriculture and Allied Sciences will be more likely to be selected.
  • Age limit: No age limit is required to apply for the IRMASAT exam.

IRMASAT 2023 Exam Pattern

Following are important points about IRMASAT Exam pattern 2023:

  • The exam for IRMASAT 2023 will be held in the First week of February.
  • IRMASAT Exam Pattern has not seen any major changes over the year. Here are the highlights of the IRMASAT Paper Pattern:
  • The examination will be carried out as a computer-based exam.
  • The duration of the exam is 120 minutes
  • The question paper consists of 200 objective-type questions each of 1 mark. It is divided into four sections:
    1. Issues of Social Concern – 60 questions
    2. English Comprehension – 40 questions
    3. Analytical Reasoning – 50 questions
    4. Quantitative Ability – 50 questions
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrected answer.

For Candidates Applying through CAT/XAT/GMAT Score:

  • IRMASAT SAT will be conducted separately for such candidates
  • The test will be for 80 minutes.
  • The question paper will have 40 objective-type questions of 1 mark each.
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

IRMASAT 2023 Admit Card

  • In the last week of January, a few days prior to the examination, IRMASAT 2023 Admit Card will be available.
  • No hard copy of the IRMASAT Admit Card will be issued by IRMASAT.
  • Applicants should bring the admit card together with a photograph of passport size and proof of identity.

Credentials to Download IRMASAT 2023 Admit Card

The applicant must enter the enrollment number and password in order to download the admit card. The card includes registration number, examination center, examination date and the time of the examination IRMASAT 2023, photographs of applicants, etc.

Availability: IRMASAT admit card must be downloaded from the official website before the examination date.

Photograph and Print: The admit card should only be taken in color prints and the photographs pasted along with an admit card should be colored and match the one given in the application form.

Documents: An identity card is obligatory to be brought to the examining hall, and if this is not the case, applicants can not enter the examining hall.

Note: Until the end of the application process, admit cards should be kept secure. In the absence of any of the above, an applicant is not allowed to enter the exam hall.

IRMASAT 2023 Cut Off

The cutoff in IRMASAT 2023 refers to the minimum marks for IRMASAT and GAP-PI rounds required by applicants. Authorities shall release the cut-off on the basis of the XAT 2023 and CAT 2023 performance of the applicant.

IRMASAT 2023 Result

In the last week of March 2023, the final merit list of IRMASAT 2023 will be published tentatively. Final admission to the IRMA PGDRM program is offered to applicants who meet the cutoff criteria and qualify for the selection rounds. In the form of a merit list, the name of the shortlisted applicants is announced in IRMASAT Result 2023.

  • The final results for Indian candidates will be published by IRMASAT in March 2023.
  • In the first week of May 2023, the results of the IRMASAT for foreign candidates will be published.
  • The overall and sectional scores are presented in IRMASAT.
  • The result is available for download as score cards.

IRMASAT 2023 Counselling

The IRMA admission process begins after the results have been declared. Candidates are invited to receive counseling based on 2 types of categories:

  1. Profile-based calls
  2. Merit-based calls

Profile Based Calls: Candidates falling under this bracket are selected based on their profile, provided that in either of the CAT / XAT examinations they have secured the minimum percentile.

Excellence in Academics: Applicants who have graduated from recognized top universities or colleges.

Working Experience: Applicants who have previously worked in the field of development, policy, advocacy, agriculture and allied activities, and the livelihood sector.

Graduation: Applicants who have completed their degrees in Social Sciences, Agriculture and Allied Science, Development, Dairy, and Public Policy.

Merit-based Calls: For the IRMASAT exam and the admission process involving GA and PI rounds, applicants who clear the lowest cutoff of 85 percentile and higher in the CAT or XAT exam will be eligible.

IRMASAT 2023 Selection Process

The IRMASAT 2023 exam selection process is carried out in three steps as follows:

Stage 1: Applicants appear and submit a score for the entrance exam. Candidates who have already cleared CAT / XAT / GMAT provide the institution with the scorecard, together with the application form.

Stage 2: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to IRMA for the selection process, where the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2023 (IRMASAT 2023), Group Activity, and Personal Interview will have to be taken.

Stage 3: Result Declaration which depends on the weightage.

Applicants who are selected for IRMASAT 2023 Counselling Process can follow the steps provided below:

  1. The candidates will have to register themselves at the official website of IRMASAT.
  2. Once registered, they can lock the preferences of colleges within the given time period.
  3. The candidates will not be allowed to make any further changes once the choices are locked.

Financial Assistance and Scholarships at IRMASAT

IRMASAT provides financial assistance through various schemes and scholarships for meritorious students.

  • Bridge Fund- The Institute for Economic Deprivation Students has set aside a fund of Rs. 50 lakhs to bridge the gap between the IRMASAT payment dates and the disbursement of payments from various financing options ( e.g. bank loan, IRMASAT fee waiver/exemption scheme, etc.).
  • Educational Loans- Educational loans are available from different banks to IRMASAT registered applicants. Canara Bank (Vidya Turant) and the Central Bank of India provide IRMASAT PGDRM students with student-friendly educational loan services.
  • Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme and Fee Exemption- The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme is available at IRMASAT, as per the AICTE rules. IRMASAT provides financial assistance to meet extremely poor applicants’ PGDRM tuition fee requirements. Participants may only apply for an exemption upon joining.
  • Scholarships for SC / ST Students- SC / ST scholarships are available at IRMASAT, covering the entire cost of SC / ST study applicants. The Indian Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has allocated 12 IRMASAT scholarships to SC participants. The scholarship includes tuition fees, non-refundable fees, lodging and boarding costs, book costs, paper, and a personal computer. (www.socialjustice.nic.in).
