XAT is the abbreviation for Xavier Aptitude Test. It is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by XLRI(Xavier School of Management), Jamshedpur for admission to management programmes at XLRI and 148 other participating XAT institutes across the country. XLRI has been conducting admission tests in India for over 60 years to select the most qualified candidates for management education. Each year, approximately 90,000 candidates sit for the XAT exam. Additionally, the exam is conducted online.
XAT is an MBA or PGDM admission test for XLRI and 150 other top Indian MBA colleges, including IMT Ghaziabad, SPJIMR Mumbai, TAPMI Manipal, and XIMB Bhubaneswar.
The XAT exam is divided into four sections, each of which contains multiple-choice questions. The examination lasts 180 minutes.
There is no time limit for each section, but access to the on-screen calculator will not be granted to the applicants.
