KCET 2024 Examination Schedule 

The authorities have not yet declared the KCET schedule 2024. The exam is expected to be conducted for a period of 2 days and in two sessions. Previous year Session 1 begun from 10.30 am to 11.50 pm and session 2 from 02.30 pm to 03.50 pm.

  • The KCET 2024 will be held across 54 centers in Karnataka according to the previous year official notification of KEA
  • A candidate who is eligible for Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses will get the option to select a center located only in Bangalore. 
  • Only in the Bangalore center, the Kannada language test will be held

KCET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

The candidates need to follow the following instructions on the exam day. Refer to the points stated below.

First 10 minutes inside the exam center:

To fill the OMR sheet, the candidates will get the first 10 minutes. They must make sure that the details on the OMR answer sheet are submitted carefully. If the sheets have incorrect details then the sheet scanning will not be done and therefore any rank will not be assigned to them. The following details need to be entered accurately:

  • Name
  • Version code
  • CET number
  • Question Serial number

Next 70 minutes:

The candidates need to answers the questions in the next 70 minutes. The following instructions should be followed while marking the OMR sheet :

  • Any stray marks are not allowed in the OMR sheet
  • Candidates are not allowed to erase or neglect the ink marks on the marked circle

Note: The applicants need to put a left thumb impression on the OMR sheet bottom sheet.

Other Guidelines to Follow on the Day of Examination

  • The candidates need to reach the reporting time at the KCET Exam Center. Then only they will be eligible for the next process of merit/admission.
  • Candidates cannot appear at any other exam center other than the allotted center mentioned in the KCET Hall Ticket
  • Candidates are advised to check the Bell Timings for Caution Bells at every interval.
  • Students must remember that the admit card is provisional. Only if the KCET Admission Ticket is issued and only the candidate is permitted to appear for the KCET exam doesn’t mean the candidature is accepted by the KEA.
  • Candidates must follow the instructions provided by the invigilators in the exam hall. If they fail to follow the instruction then their result will not be declared.
  • Candidates need to write or shade only the entries required on the OMR Answer Sheet. If they write or shade entries that may disclose the identity of candidates or if they use any kind of abusive language or use any other unfair method like changing or scratching the answer will directly result in the candidate’s disqualification.
  • Each subject question paper is printed in English and Kannada Language.
  • The English version can be taken if any discrepancy is found in the English and Kannada Versions
  • Candidates are not permitted to leave the exam hall till the entire exam duration is completed
