Kakatiya University, Warangal conducts the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) for admission into the programs MBA and MCA in the state of Telangana. The exam is a computer-based exam and will be held in May 2024.

TS ICET Eligibility Criteria

Following are the detailed eligibility criteria for TS ICET 2024:

Nationality

• The candidate should be a citizen of India.
• The candidate should fulfill local/non-local status requirements as required by TSEI.
• Candidates belonging to other nationalities will have to check the concerned universities’ eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

MBA Program:

• The candidate should have a three years bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• The candidate should have secured at least 50 % minimum marks for general category candidates and 45 % minimum marks for reserved category candidates in the qualifying examination.

MCA Program:

• The candidate should have a three years bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• The candidate should have secured at least 50 % minimum marks for general category candidates and 45 % minimum marks for reserved category candidates in the qualifying examination.
• The candidate should have mathematics as a mandatory subject in their 10+2 examination.

Age Criteria:

• There is no upper age limit for the examination.

TS ICET 2024 Key Points

• Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have got their degree through distance learning should ensure that the program is recognized by a joint committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC.
• Candidates must secure at least 25% marks in TS ICET 2024 in order to qualify. There are no minimum marks required for SC/ST candidates.
• Candidates will be required to appear for the counseling of TS ICET 2024 if they qualify for the examination.
• Candidates will also have to produce category certificate proof both at the time of the application process as well as admission process.
