The GNIHM JET Application Form 2023 is currently available. Guru Nanak Dev Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM) conducts an All-India level Joint Entrance Test (JET)  to give admission to aspirants in hospitality courses offered by it. GNIHM JET is also commonly referred to as JIS Entrance Exam. Courses offered at GNIHM are as mentioned below.

It is a very popular All India Joint Entrance examination for admissions to hotel management programs like B.sc Hospitality & Hotel Administration, M.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, and MBA in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.

• Under the eligibility of GNIHM JET, applicants should have qualified 12th class for UG courses and must have graduated from PG programs with the required qualifications.
• Registration for the program takes place in online/offline mode.
• The fee for the examination shall be INR 1000.

GNIHM JET 2023 Application Process

A GNIHM JET application form is available on the official website of the Guru Nanak Hotel Management Institute and applicants can complete their various Hotel Management courses, such as Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, B.Sc Hospitality & Hotel Administration, MSc in Hospitality and Hotel Management, MBA in Hospitality and Hotel Management.

• As per last year’s information, the candidate can procure an application form by paying Rs. 1000 from the Institute, which he or she may submit at the Institute (person/per post).
• By visiting the official website, the applicant can download the application form and must complete the application form and send it with the amount of Rs 1000 required as per last year’s information.
• Candidates also can fill in the online form and it will be available on the web page and click on the ‘apply online’ link.
• You must submit the necessary information, for example, the personal details, qualifications, and contact information, in the registration form and you must make payment by the online method of application by means of a debit card/credit card from any banking institution or you can pay by DD/cheque in favor of the “Gurunanak Institute of Hotel Management” which would be payable at Kolkata.

How to fill GNIHM JET 2023 Application Form Online?

• Submit your name, contact number, and email address as in the class X mark sheet. 
• Enter in the details of the course, private details, and academic details.
• As per the guidelines outlined, upload your photograph and signature.
• Pay the fee for the application and click on the submit button.
• For reference purposes, take the e-receipt printout.

Application Fee

• Candidates must also pay an INR 1000 application fee at the time of submitting the application form.
• The application fee can be paid by any nationalized bank’s debit card/credit card or can even be paid by DD / Cheque in favor of the “Gurunanak Institute of Hotel Management” payable at Kolkata.
• The applicant may also pay the registration fee in cash which the college itself accepts.

GNIHM JET 2023 Admit Card

The admit card can be found at gnihm.ac.in. The applicant must click on the admit card information to download the same, and then the applicant is notified that the admit card would be sent to the applicant at the e-mail address on the id provided by the applicant.

Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management JET sends the hall ticket to the candidates by email, speed post, or by courier services. According to the rules, only the registered candidate will accept the admit card on his / her registered email Id, so it is important for the candidates to fill in the details of the email Id properly.

The candidate must remember all the important points:

• If the applicant is eligible to appear in the test, he must take the admit card at the entrance examination.
• The candidates must take the assigned seats.
• Once the exam begins, the applicant can not enter the exam hall.
• The examination hall is not allowed to include calculators/watch calculators, electronic diaries, etc.
• Impersonation is a crime.
• If the applicant is found to cheat, they are not allowed to take the examination.

GNIHM JET 2023 Exam Pattern

The candidates must prefer an exam pattern if they will be appearing in the test and it will be useful for them to prepare well for the exam. The following are the exam pattern information for candidates.

• GNIHM JET is a paper and pen test.
• The paper consists of 120 questions, 115 of which are questions for multiple choice and 5 are descriptive questions.
• The examination time is 2 hours (120 minutes).
• In the descriptive part questions, each question contains seven marks.
• “NO NEGATIVE MARK” exists.
• For every correct response in MCQs, 1 mark is awarded.
