It is notified that candidates must pass the eligibility criteria before finishing the KIITEE 2024 application form. Admission to the test qualifying candidates in different courses will be successfully offered. The entry test will be carried out by national scores of NEET UG and NEET PG in MBBS, BDS, and PG Medical & PG Dental programs. The entry test is done at the university level to offer admission in the fields of engineering, arts, nursing, architecture, computer applications, and various other sectors.

KIITEE 2024 Application Form

The application form for KIITEE 2024 contains a number of areas that aim to know the personal details of the applicants, academic qualifications, and their choice of test cities according to which the test centers are also allocated to the applicants. As the application procedure is going out online, all documents must be uploaded only online. The documents uploaded include a scanned copy of the student’s picture, as well as a scanned copy of the student’s Black-Ball-Point Pen signature.

If the applicant falls within one of the categories of reservation such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD, etc then scanned versions of the reservation certificates must also be uploaded.

KIITEE registration will be completed in online mode. The registration Form for KIITEE 2024 will be available in the online KIIT website.

How to apply for KIITEE 2024?

An applicant may fill out the application form after announcing the date of issue of the KIITEE application form. Candidates are only able to qualify if they have successfully completed enrollment. A step-by-step procedure for a successful application is required for the completion of the application form. This form is divided into four main sections: Personal details, academic information, the selection of a test center, and the uploading of documents. Almost every section has several areas to fill in with the necessary information.

Following is the step-by-step process for completing the application form for KIITEE 2024:

  • Login with your login ID and your password, which you obtained at registration by email.
  • Pick the course to be taught and click on ‘Apply online.’ The form window opens where applicants must fill in the details requested in each section.
  • The first section contains details such as the name of the applicant, parents’ name, permanent address, gender, religion and caste, birth date, and nationality.
  • In the second section, the applicants must include academic qualifications such as class X and XII marks, board name, passing year, etc.
  • After completing the second section, the applicants have to choose KIITEE 2024 Examination Centers in decreasing order.
  • The final step is to upload documents, in which all mandatory copies of documents, such as scanned signature copies, scanned photocopies, and reservation category certificates, are to be submitted.
  • The registration fee for KIITEE 2024 is free of charge for all applicants. Therefore no fee payment shall be made for the examination.
  • Following the completion of the application procedure, the applicant can wait for the application status confirmation. Take the application form printout and maintain it for any future reference.

KIITEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The KIITEE 2024 eligibility criteria indicate the minimum marks needed by applicants for KIITEE 2024. The KIITEE 2024 eligibility criteria also consider the percentage of seats reserved for reserved applicants. Applicants shall verify the eligibility criteria stated for their choice prior to completing the KIITEE 2024 application form. Applicants should note that applicants who do not meet the criteria for eligibility will not be assessed for examination, even if the application form is completed.

KIITEE 2024 Eligibility for UG Courses

The criteria for eligibility for the UG KIITEE courses are as follows:

For B.Tech (Lateral Entry – 3 years)

  • Applicants should have passed a Diploma Course in Engineering from the State Council of Technical Education of any state with at least 60 percent aggregate.
  • To apply for the B.Tech Lateral Entry course through KIITEE 2024, applicants should have been born after July 1, 2000.

For B.Tech (4 years)/B.Tech & M.Tech (Dual Degree) Biotechnology (5 years)

  • Applicants who qualified 10+2 in 2020/2021 or who are appearing in 2024 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 years)/B.Tech & M.Tech (Dual Degree) (Biotechnology) through KIITEE 2024. 
  • Students must have cleared 10+2 and should also be eligible to apply for KIITEE 2024 with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology taken together.
  • Students are expected to be born after July 1, 2002.

For B.Sc Nursing (4 years)

  • Applicants will be eligible for KIITEE 2024 if they have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCBE), and with a mark of at least 45%.
  • A candidate’s lower age limit should be 17 years as of 31 December 2024, and the upper age limit should be 35 years as of 31 December 2024.

For B.Tech in Architecture (5 years)

  • Applicants must have qualified in physics, chemistry, and mathematics for 10+2 with 50 percent marks and also 50 percent in the entire 10+2 exam as a whole. In addition, the applicant should have qualified for the NATA examination or JEE Main Paper-II for admission through KIITEE 2024.

For B.A.LL.B/BBA LL.B/B.Sc LL.B (5 years)

  • Students should have passed 10+2 or similar exam with marks aggregate of at least 45 percent. For B.Sc LL.B, applicants in the science stream should have qualified 10+2 with 45 percent markings for KIITEE 2024.
  • Applicants under the age of 21, on 1 July 2024, are eligible to apply.

For BBA (3 years)

  • Applicants must have obtained at least 50% marks in 10+2 with one topic in math/business math/economics/statistics. Applicants born on or after July 1, 2001, are eligible through KIITEE 2024 to apply for BBA.

For BCA (3 years)

  • Applicants who have qualified 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject with at least 50% marks aggregate. Candidates who are born on/after July 1, 2001, can apply for the BCA program under KIITEE 2024.

For B.Des (Fashion/Textile) (4 years)

  • Applicants should have qualified 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Also, an applying candidate should also be born on/after July 1, 2001, to apply for KIITEE 2024.

For Master of Mass Communication (5 years)

  • Applicants should have qualified 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Also, an applying candidate should also be born on/after July 1, 2001 to apply for KIITEE 2024.

For Bachelor of Film & Television Production (3 years)

  • Applicants should have qualified 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Also, an applying candidate should also be born on/after July 1, 2001 to apply for KIITEE 2024.

For B.A. (Economics Hons.) (3 years)

  • Applicants should have qualified 10+2/equivalent in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Also, an applying candidate should be born on/after July 1, 2001 to be eligible to apply for KIITEE 2024.

For B.Sc (Computer Science)

  • Applicants should have qualified 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Also, an applying candidate should be born on/after July 1, 2001 to be eligible to apply for KIITEE 2024.

For B.Com (3 years)

  • Applicants should have qualified 10+2 in any stream with Mathematics/Business Mathematics & Statistics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Also, an applying candidate should be born on/after July 1, 2001 to apply for KIITEE 2024.

For B.A. (English Hons.) (3 years)

  • Applicants should have qualified 10+2/equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Also, an applying candidate should also be born on/after July 1, 2001 to apply for KIITEE 2024.

Note: Applicants who have obtained an IB Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva (Switzerland) may apply for any course where the KIITEE 2024 eligibility qualification is 10+2. Other criteria will continue to apply.

KIITEE 2024 Eligibility for PG Courses

For M.Sc (Biotechnology/Applied Microbiology) (2 years)

  • Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/Agriculture/Pharmacy/Veterinary/Engineering/Technology/Medicine (MBBS/MDS) with at least 55% marks aggregate.
  • Applicants born on or after July 1, 1999, are eligible to apply for KIITEE 2024.

For MCA (Lateral Entry 2 years)

  • The applicants who have passed or appeared with a minimum of 50% aggregate in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science/IST/ITM) from a recognized University. Applicants who are born on/after July 1, 1999, are eligible to apply for KIITEE 2024.

For MCA (3 years)

  • Any applicants with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in graduation or equivalent having Maths either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subjects. Candidates who are born on/after July 1, 1999, are eligible to apply.

For M.Tech (2 years)

  • Applicant should have passed B. Tech or B.E. or any equivalent degree (AMIE, GRADE-IETE, etc.) in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class MCA/First Class M.Sc in (Comp/IT/ETC).
  • GATE qualified applicants shall be preferred in the selection process. Candidates scoring more than 400 marks in GATE need not sit in the exam KIITEE 2024.

For LL.M (1 year)

  • Applicants who have acquired a degree in B.A. LL.B/BBA LL.B/B.Sc. LL.B/B.L or equivalent from a recognized university and must have scored at least 55% aggregate marks to get considered for admission through KIITEE 2024.

For M.Sc Nursing (2 years)

There are certain conditions laid by the KIIT University. The applicants shall only apply if they fulfill the KIITEE 2024 eligibility criteria defined below:

  • Applicant should be a registered nurse or registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
  • The minimum education qualification should be a degree in B.Sc Nursing/B.Sc Hons. Nursing/Post Basic Nursing with a 55% minimum aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).
  • Applicants should have undergone any of the above courses from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
  • Minimum 1-year of experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing is required.
  • The candidate should be medically fit.

For Master of Hospital Administration (2 years)

  • Applicants must have qualified Bachelor’s Degree in MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BNYS/BPT/BSc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/BPharm/BSc in Allied Health Sciences/Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Commerce/Science/Law from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be considered for admission to KIIT University through KIITEE 2024.

For Master of Public Health (2 years)

  • Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any Health Science [MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS/BNYS/BPT/B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/B.Pharm] discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks to be considered for admission through KIITEE 2024.

For M.A. (Yoga Therapy) (2 years)

  • Applying applicants should be graduates in any stream to be able to pursue this course through KIITEE 2024.

For Integrated M.Sc & PhD Programme (5years) (Applied Physics / Applied Chemistry / Mathematics and Data Sciences)

  • Applicants must have passed B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree with at least 60% aggregate. Students possessing a Bachelor’s degree with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics as one of the main subjects or Engineering Graduates with a strong aptitude for the above areas are eligible to apply. Applicants who are in the final year of their Graduation may also apply.

For M.A. (Economics) (2 years)

  • Applicants must be Graduate or equivalent to one subject as Economics/Mathematics/Statistics with at least 50% marks.

For M.Sc (Computer Science) (2 years)

  • Applying candidates should have a B.Sc degree in Computer Science/IT/Mathematics/Electronics/Physics/Chemistry/BCA with a minimum of 50% aggregate to be considered for admission through KIITEE 2024.

M.A. in Sociology (2 years)

  • Applicants should be a Graduate or equivalent with a 50% marks aggregate to get admission through KIITEE 2024.

M.A. in English (2 years)

  • Applicants who have passed Graduation or equivalent with one subject as English with 50% aggregate.

Master of Mass Communication (2 years)

  • Applicants must have passed Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks.

M.Com (2 years)

  • Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Management or Commerce from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Course-wise eligibility for each specialization in M.Tech

The M.Tech Programme has several specializations. KIIT University has specified eligibility criteria for each specialization differently. Interested applicants must go through the information given below before applying for KIITEE 2024.

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering- Specialization in VLSI Design & Embedded Systems/RF & Microwave

  • Applicants should have qualified B.E./B.Tech with First Class in Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Electrical or First Class in M.Sc (Electronics).

Computer Science & Engineering- Specialization in Engineering /Computer Science & Information Security/Data Analytics/Software Engineering

  • Applicants who have qualified B.E./B.Tech with First Class in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation or First Class in MCA or First Class in M.Sc. Comp.Sc/IT are eligible to apply.

Civil Engineering- Specialization in Construction Engineering & Management/StructuralEngineering/Geotechnical Engineering/Water Resources Engineering

  • Applicants should have passed B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with First Class to be considered for admission through KIITEE 2024.

Mechanical Engineering- Specialization in Specialization in Manufacturing Process & Systems/Thermal Engineering/Machine Design

  • Applicants should have passed B.E., B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering with First Class.

Electrical- Specialization in Power Electronics & Drives/Power Energy & System/Power System Engineering

  • Applicants who have passed B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics & Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation & Electronics & Communication are eligible.

KIITEE Eligibility for Research Programme

In a number of fields, KIIT University offers research programs. The eligibility criteria for the Ph.D. programs for all candidates interested in applying for the KIITEE 2024 are provided below.

For PhD

Applicants having M.Tech/M.E/MCA/MBA or equivalent degree with 60% aggregate at least or an equivalent CGPA or M.Sc/M.A./M.Com/LL.M or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% marks aggregate or equivalent.


KIITEE 2024 Reservation of Seats

For each section of individuals who cleared the KIITEE 2024 examination, there will be a different merit list.

Physically Challenged Applicants: For the physically challenged applicants in KIITEE, 3% of the total seats are reserved.

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe: 7.5% and 15% of the total KIITEE quota seats are reserved for candidates in the Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste categories. (not through adoption or by marriage)

Women Applicants: 30 percent of the total number of seats for women candidates will be reserved, which is only applicable to B. Tech and B. Tech & M. Tech (Dual Degree) Biotechnology.


KIITEE 2024 Exam Pattern

The test will be performed by the university in the computer-based mode for all the courses. Individuals who wish to seek admission must ensure that the KIITEE 2024 examination pattern is checked in depth. The test will be performed in a computer-based mode. For every wrong response, there will be a negative marking. As per the marking scheme, for a correct answer, 4 marks are awarded, while for each incorrect answer, a deduction of 1 mark will be made. Multiple options (MCQ’s) will be the questions asked and English will be the medium of language.

Pattern of the KIITEE B.Tech Exam:

It is a three-hour online exam. There are three sections in the KIITEE exam pattern: Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. There are 40 questions in each section and every question contains 4 marks. Each right answer gets 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted from each wrong answer. English is the language of the exam.

The exam encompasses multiple subjects related to chemistry, physics, and mathematics. To check the full syllabus of the exam, applicants can refer to the official brochure. KIIT also releases the test takers’ mock tests. The mock tests are designed for the purpose of learning. It will help the applicants understand the structure of the test.

Pattern of the KIITEE B.B.A Exam:

KIITEE’s BBA exam is an online exam. The exam is to evaluate the different elements of applicants’ expertise. Four sections are included in the BBA exam: Mathematical Ability (30 questions), Analytical & Logical Reasoning (30 questions), Verbal Ability (40 questions) and General Knowledge (20 questions). There are a total of 120 questions in the exam.

Law Exam Pattern for KIITEE:

The KIITEE Law Exam is a three-hour online exam with an objective (multiple choice questions). Mathematical Ability (30 questions), Analytical & Logical Reasoning (30 questions), Verbal Ability (40 questions), and General Knowledge (20 questions) are four sections of the test. There are a total of 120 questions in the test.

Negative marking is also present in the test. For a right answer, 4 marks are awarded and for an incorrect response, 1 mark is subtracted.

M.Tech Exam Pattern for KIITEE:

The exam pattern for the M.Tech Entrance exam varies depending on the applicant’s selected branch/specialization. There are a total of 120 questions in the exam and the test duration is 3 hours.

The test includes questions pertaining to the B.E/B.Tech Curriculum of the discipline concerned. In order to know the exact exam pattern for the entrance test, aspirants can check the official brochure for the exam.

The pattern of the KIITEE L.L.M Exam:

There are only multiple choice questions for the KIITEE LLM exam. 120 questions are part of the three-hour test. All of the exam questions are related to the LLB syllabus. In this exam, applicants who may have clear LLB basics get an advantage.

Each question is worth 4 marks, as per the grading system. So, choosing the right answer gets 4 marks. There is also negative marking for the exam. For each incorrect answer, one mark is subtracted.

KIITEE M.C.A. Pattern of the Exam:

The KIITEE MCA entrance examination tests the applicants’ mathematical, analytical, and computer awareness. Mathematical Ability (12th standard), Analytical & Logical Ability, and Computer Awareness have 120 questions divided into three sections in the 3-hour exam.

The first segment, i.e. Mathematics carries 60 questions at most. There are 30 questions each for the rest of the two sections. Four marks for each right answer and one negative mark for each wrong answer.

In order to avoid negative marking, applicants are encouraged to attempt questions wisely.

The KIITEE syllabus will vary according to the course selected by the applicant. Various subjects in the B.Tech program under Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be as follows:

Physics: Topics under physics will be units & measurement, work, energy, and power, waves, electron, and photon, electromagnetic induction & alternating currents, solids & semiconductor devices, and much more.

Chemistry: It includes topics as some basic concepts, the chemistry of lighter meals, atomic structure,  states of matter, an organic compound containing nitrogen, synthetics & natural polymers, and much more.

Mathematics:  It consists of topics such as sets, relation & functions, vector algebra, trigonometry, probability, synthetic & natural polymers, differential equations, and much more.

Applicants can download their KIITEE Admit Card from the official website once they have scheduled an exam slot. The KIITEE Admit Card consists of all exam details, including the exam slot, the day, and the assigned test centers. Applicants are recommended to check the application form prior to submission, as any information may not be changed after the KIITEE admit card has been issued.

Issue Date: The KIITEE 2024 exam admit card will be available for download from the official website tentatively in July 2024.

How to download the Admit Card from KIITEE?

Applicants may download their admit card whenever the date of issuance of the admit card is announced by the overseeing authority on the official KIITEE website. Only the official website of the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) allows applicants to access the KIITEE 2024 admit card. Admit cards will only be issued or available for download until the day of the exam.

KIITEE 2024 Result

With the assistance of their Registration No and Date of Birth, applicants can view the KIITEE outcome. The KIITEE 2024 Answer Key will always be published within a few days of the exam date by KIIT University. Applicants may calculate the scores and compute the marks accordingly. KIITEE 2024 Cut Off

KIITEE Cut-off 2024 will be published on the official website of KIITEE shortly after the announcement of KIITEE 2024 Results by the examining body. The 2024 KIITEE cut-off relies on several factors, including the following:

  • The number of applicants applied for KIITEE 2024.
  • The difficulty level of the exam.
  • Previous year cutoff marks for KIITEE.
  • Availability of seats in each course.
  • Performance of aspirants in the KIITEE 2024.

KIITEE 2024 Counselling

Applicants who secure score marks just above the cut-off score meet the criteria and will be invited to the process of counseling and seat allocation.

Two rounds of KIITEE Counselling are tentatively scheduled for the applicants to show up on time. Successful applicants will be informed of their final assessment by means of an admission offer letter comprising the admission terms and conditions.

Process for Online Counseling

Step 1: Upload Document and Branch Choice Filling 

Applicants must go to the official KIIT website and click on the Counselling Tab.

A page will be redirected to KIITEE 2024 Counseling where you need to provide the credentials. The application number and the applicant’s date of birth must be provided in order to log in.

The applicant must first enter the educational details, such as PCM marks and the aggregate, upon successful login. Applicants can select either the option of “Results Declared” or “Waiting for Results.”

Once the obtained marks have been entered, the next step is to upload the relevant documents. Applicants must upload and submit a class 10th, class 12th, color photograph of one passport size, and reservation certificate (if applicable).

Applicants must fill in the branch preference upon successful document upload. He/she has to select as many branches as they want and any two branches can be interchanged. If an applicant needs “Computer Science” as his/her first choice, then they should fill it, followed by the second, as their first choice. The officials conducting KIITEE 2024 will contact the shortlisted applicants.

Step 2: Result of Provisional Branch Allotment

According to the student’s rank in the KIITEE 2024 test and branch choice, a branch that needs to be confirmed by the applicant will be provisionally allocated.

If the applicant decides to take the branch offered, he/she should press and submit “Yes”. “No” can be selected by applicants who do not intend to take the branch.

In order to verify the tentative seat offered to them, applicants are then obliged to pay the admission fee.

Prerequisite Documents and Token Fees

At the time of KIITEE 2024 counseling, applicants should submit the following documents referred to above. The admission team will carry out the authentication of the documents.

  • 10th Pass certificate
  • 12th Mark sheet and Pass certificate
  • 12th Mark sheet and Pass Certificate
  • The graduation Mark sheet and Pass Certificate for MCA and M.Sc
  • B.Tech./B.E./ MCA/ M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For M.Tech./LLM/Ph.D Candidates)
  • Reservation Certificate issued by the authority (If Applicable)
  • GATE Score Card (for M.Tech GATE Qualified only)
  • Demand Draft of INR 75,000 in favor of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar, including the Counselling Registration fees of INR 10,000 (Non-Refundable).

KIITEE Exam Center 2024

Applicants must indicate two test cities as per their choices in the application form while completing the application form online. The admit card will contain details relating to the examination center. Once the examination center is assigned to the applicants, no request for a change to the examination center will be accepted.
